One way to amuse biologists is to stick a giant bulb in front of a white sheet….we’re simple people! The hours spent in front of this sheet, captivated by the insects (especially after a couple of Nile beers), just as much as they were by the light.
Unfortunately I didn’t get out an insect guide so I don’t know any of the scientific (or even the general) names, from now on I will at least attempt to identify the species I photograph, I so often just get carried away with the shape and form of what I’m snapping!
